I was in Nairobi today, watching the TYSA girls’ soccer team from rural Kenya take on the urban girls team from kibera (one of Nairobi’s biggest slums) that is sponsored by Carolina for Kibera. Both teams receive a bit of funding through GlobalGiving, although GG is not the major sponsor for either one. It’s probably a first ever GG vs GG face off in a tournament.
Support them:

I’ll probably try to get a little audio or video podcast up later this week on it.
The match btw Tysa Vs Cfk queens,it was,the luckiest team won.The girls frm Tysa had a long day bt by the end of the day GK blunder made their day.But all in all I enjoyed the match and if we want 2 improve girl soccer program countrywide, more of such event need 2 b org in every province also more donors 2 cheap in.
